We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Telemetry & Observability practice. You’ll work directly with clients to design and implement comprehensive observability solutions for complex distributed systems, helping organizations gain deep insights into their system behavior and improve operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Design observability architectures for large-scale distributed systems
  • Implement OpenTelemetry instrumentation across diverse technology stacks
  • Build telemetry pipelines that collect, process, and route metrics, logs, traces & events
  • Create dashboards and alerts that provide actionable insights
  • Mentor client teams on telemetry and observability best practices
  • Lead client engagements from discovery through implementation and handoff

Who You Are

Required Experience

  • Fluent in both Swedish and English
  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or observability / data engineering roles
  • Strong expertise with observability tools (Splunk, Cribl, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger, New Relic, etc.)
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar instrumentation frameworks
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Kubernetes experience and understanding of cloud-native patterns

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of AIOps and machine learning for operations
  • Certified in relevant telemetry and observability solutions
  • Speaking experience at technical conferences
